I got news for ya, if I wasn't so scared of guns I wouldn't even of hired a new chief. I would of took care of ya'll myself. Just bring your car stereos in with ya at night and don't ever, ever ever, drive or walk around the town alone, and we'll probably be ok, right ?

There may be a lot we don't know about him. He might be the chief in several small towns. Its been said that while he was working on the drug task force in Pocahontas county he showed up in magistrate court to testify and was wearing a mask. The magistrate told him to take the mask off and he refused. This caused quite a stir, funny guy. Can't wait for the next chapter. You go BOB (mayor), you are rockin this town.

So he doesn't like the Constitution. That's understandable, a criminal cop that migrates from town to town that doesn't like to follow rules. It's called "The 6th Amendment of the United States Constitution". Look it up. It not only deals with the right to face an accuser in court, but also right to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation against him by an indictment.

People are really wasting their time. Our mayor was caught committing discrepancies while in office, made to resign, got out of jail, got a shortened home confinement, was told never could hold an "elected" office, yet it's OK to "appoint" his to the bldg. committee? Do you really think they care? The old saying, "You can't beat city hall" is meant to be literal in Richwood. THEY DON'T CARE!

It is easy to beat up on anyone , but not so easy to call the guy and meet with him and talk about what you think would befit Richwood . The city has the same law enforcement issues as any other city . It is how you put a plan together to address the issues and the manpower required . If Richwood had the dollars you could get a big city Police Chief and a barge full of cops . Success comes from the Citizens working with the Police Chief and he working with the Citizens . if you do not take the time to meet with him then your words are just words . Richwood has around 2.000 + or -- a few citizens . If you believe in Richwood your leadership and action can make a real difference .
