I looked for it and found nothing. This is all personal, nothing more. If it wasn't over him beating you or someone out for the chiefs job, it must be because he fu@ked your wife or girlfriend. Why hasn't anyone pointed this out to the Nicolas County PA if it was all true? And you call me retarded; and if I am, I'm still smarter than you by a longshot.

So then its all true, no denying it. See you wedge heads would have posted this at the beginning, you wouldn't have had any arguments. However, you have one small problem, Cole can legal be a police officer in WV, because he was convicted of nothing. So, I guess you will have to eat it.

even with the the truth staring you in the face, you divert your ignorance to something else; i never said he couldn't work in WV; i correctly pointed out that the public needs to know about his thieving past before they hire him as an officer; you, in all your ignorance, time and time again defended this thief; of course, we wouldn't expect anything less from an imbecile from arkansas

I think this was really all a big set up. After looking at the documents closely, they seem to be fakes and forgeries. You can't see anyone's face clearly in the photos either, and if you could, questions about Photoshop would come in to play. Please post some BETTER proof.

Copper - I guess that PROECT AND SERVE means the same in your state as in mine, namely that we should protect and serve the police. I would think that you, of all people, would want to get rid of the scumbags in every police department. The saying goes that one bad apple spoils the whole barrel. In Pocahontas County the whole barrel is spoiled. Our police departments are the laughing stock of the whole state. Everywhere I go people want to know about the latest escapades of the Keystone Kops (with my apologies to the original Keystone Kops). There is another saying that if one wallows with a pig (no bad pun intended), one will quickly smell like a pig. I give no credence to the contributors to this topic who claim to be co-workers of Cole, because the smell is already upon them. Copper, your excuses are getting even lamer, if that is even possible. You first said that there was no evidence that Cole was guilty of anything despite everything that was known about him. Then Norman Alderman published Cole's court records. Now you say that they look like forgeries. PROVE IT! Why don't you get Cole's record yourself from the Jefferson County courthouse, and show us all how that meanie Norman Alderman is trying to frame that poor innocent angel named Christopher Cole. I won't hold my breath. I can't wait to hear your next excuse.

Now that all the bull shit is over and you exposed this, my question is this; are going to expose yourselves for the drinking and driving that you have done in the past? Judging from all the postings against Cole, this is other officers, you have a rightful bitch about this, no doubt. As officers you know damn well that during police functions there is drinking, and off duty officers drive home well over the legal limit, and participate in bar fights You also know damn well if you get on U.S. 19 or I-79 speeding down the road, you get pulled over and flash your badge to get out of a ticket and sail on down the highway until you get stopped again. How many of you used your badge to get a friend or family member out of a ticket or trouble? How many of you used your pull to help a friend or family member to get a Magistrate to swing their way in civil court? I know that you will call me stupid, and say they may do that in Memphis or Arkansas, but not in WV. Bull Shit, I worked in WV and I know for a fact this goes on, and still goes on. I have family members that are Troopers for the WVSP, that's right, I come from a family of cops, and I also know of all the underhanded dealings in Nicolas County. Remember the La Roses? They completely controlled the county and SPD at one time, and still have influence. Anyone exposing that? What about a former PA that beat the hell out of his girlfriend at the Criagsville Go-Mart? Did any of you bitch about the state letting him keep his law licence? Also knowing his past history with drug abuse while a PA for Webster and Nicolas Counties? Don't get on here being holier then thou, because all cops have skeletons in their closet that they hope remain locked away. You do to. The State of WV gave Cole a second chance, why can't you? I also know some of you are going to say what if he was a child molester? Well, don't be stupid, of course not. Think about this before you respond. I now think that this is a combination of a professional problem and a personal problem. 1. no one wants to work with a corrupt cop, and 2. I know some RPD officers are pissed off at the city for getting ride of everyone that isn't certified. These are rightful bitches and complainants. But, remember this, make damn sure that your sheets are clean before you start judging other peoples dirty laundry, you could be the next one on here being judged.

Copper, I thank you for admitting that the BS is over. Now perhaps we can get to the real problem.(FYI - I have never driven a car with any amount of alcohol in my system.) The real problem is the double standard between police and public. Police rarely get charged for their crimes, and when they do get charged, they are given sweetheart deals that the public rarely gets. The deputy who got drunk and shot up his girl friend's apartment is a deputy in another county. The deputy who mutilated a man's arm during a DUI arrest was never charged and is a deputy in another county. A former deputy (not Totten) and a former trooper had a thing for underage girls were not charged. A former deputy who falsified personal records for a trial was charged but served no time. The list goes on. Cole committed a severe battery here in Pocahontas County was not charged. That battery could have killed Norman Alderman, and it cost the county's insurance company over $5,000. Cole also liked to talk to anybody about pending investigations and would name the people of interest. Cole was not someone who made one mistake in Kentucky and since performed in a way to deserve the Congressional Medal of Honor. Police, and all public officers, need to be held to a higher standard than the public, not to a lower standard. Bad police need to removed permanently from their positions in addition to all other penalties imposed by law. Greyhound justice is no justice at all. You wouldn't dump your garbage on your neighbor's porch, but you seem to think that it is okay to dump law enforcement trash on other people's porches.

Yes, this is a sorry, sorry fact. However, there are better and more professional ways of handling matters of this nature. The 1st step would be for someone in the department to step foreword and complaint to the PA's officer. if no attempt would be taken to correct the problem, go to the Attorney Generals Office, and or The U.S. Justice Department. Then the press, not Topix, I'm talking TV News and the state newspaper. Everyone knows that Topix is a place where you can spread nasty rumors about people that have no truth what so ever. I follow things back home, and I know the uproar that is going on in the Richwood City Government at this time over the Police Department and the arrest of an officer stealing drugs from the evidence locker. At first glance at the Cole issue, I guessed this was some pissed off people that had an axe to grind with the city and Cole. Now as far as what Cole did, it was wrong, he should have been charged and KY should have not cut him a deal not to work in that state, the deal should have been desertification, fine, probation and a total band from law enforcement or go to jail and all the above. You can't blast Cole for coming to WV to work, anyone of us would have done the same thing in his shoes. The bottom line is this, no matter how much you dislike this; here it is and there is nothing you or anyone can do about it. The State of WV certified him, so he's legal to work. Also, you really can't bitch about KY for giving Cole the deal, when the U.S. Justice Department lets murdering suspects off to roll over on others, remember John Gotti and Sammy the Bull? Yep, our system of justice is way fu@ked up; a murder, or someone that steals the life savings of an old woman can walk if they have something good to give, but Joe Shit the Rag Man will get 7 to 10 years for cheating on his income tax return. This is Justice the American way. You think what happened with Cole is big? No its not, I know of a state police commissioner that is covering up the kidnapping, brutal rape, and murder of a 30 year old woman to protect a friends son. This happened 25 years ago, to this date we can't get the fed's to do jack shit about it. Why do you think I said fu@k it after 20 years and took the retirement and walked? I got sick of the underhanded bull shit.

Based on your judgments, some of you don't really give a shit what Cole did, you just want to get on Topix and keep shit stirred up. You don't want a problem fixed, you just want something to bitch and wine about. If you wanted this fixed, you would use the steps that I outlined.

why don't you keep your assine comments where they belong in that hick state of Arkansas you were given the proof and yet you still find some whiny way to deflect how WRONG you were about Cole who in their right mind would want a police officer with Cole's background? judging from your totally misinformed and ignorant comments, we'd love to send him to Arkansas since he'll fit in with you

Fu@k you! The last I heard we lived in the United States, and in this country we have a little piece of paper, and on that paper there is a paragraph that is an amendment; this amendment is called freedom of speech. As far as Arkansas being a hick state, I believe our education rankings are much, much higher than that of WV. You need to go back and re-read my last few post moron. If you can read! You inbred fu@k!!!!

Copper, the last rankings in education, which I saw just a couple of minutes ago, was West Virginia last but Arkansas was not far away at 45th. That is why we hired Cole in the first place and again the second time.
