Copper - I guess that PROECT AND SERVE means the same in
your state as in mine, namely that we should protect and serve the police. I would think that you, of all people, would want to get rid of the scumbags in every police department. The saying goes that one bad apple spoils the whole barrel. In Pocahontas County the whole barrel is spoiled. Our police departments are the laughing
stock of the whole state. Everywhere I go people want to know about the latest escapades of the Keystone Kops (with my apologies to the original Keystone Kops). There is another saying that if one wallows with a pig (no bad pun intended), one will quickly smell like a pig. I give no credence to the contributors to this topic who claim to be co-workers of Cole, because the smell is already upon them.
Copper, your excuses are getting even lamer, if that is even possible. You first said that there was no evidence that Cole was guilty of anything despite everything that was known about him. Then Norman Alderman published Cole's
court records. Now you say that they look like forgeries. PROVE IT! Why don't you get Cole's record yourself from the Jefferson County courthouse, and show us all how that meanie Norman Alderman is trying to frame that poor innocent angel named Christopher Cole. I won't hold my breath. I can't wait to hear your next excuse.

kentucky fried cole getting out and getting a promotion could be a beautiful thing for the people of pocahontas.
ReplyDeleteif cole wants to redeem himself and do the right thing- he can start by talking to the feds and state police to expose the corruption and coverups in our sheriffs office.
based on documents we have already seen, cole has a penchant and history for squealing on his fellow officers when the heat comes down.
now would be a brilliant time for the fbi and special agent fred aldridge to pay cole a visit and see what he has to say about all things pocahontas.
jonese and the corrupt gang of jack booted thugs must be wondering about what cole knows and who he could spill the beans to.
if jonese is no longer his superior, he no longer maintains and exerts control over him.
additionally, this change could also be great opportunity if there are any honest and decent folks left in the sheriffs department.
it cant possibly go over well to see a fellow co-worker with a dishonest past get advanced up the career ladder to chief, whether it be here or elsewhere.
they may now see that you get nothing for sitting around and being an honest individual.
this would have to piss off anyone to see individuals getting rewarded for being sleazy, dishonest, and underhanded.
therein lies another opportunity for any honest individual in the sheriffs department to place a call to the fbi and inform them of the local corruption and coverups.
even members of the auxillary, if they know anything, now have a great opportunity to place a free and confidential call to the fbi and fred aldridge.

I also think that he couldn't catch him made the department look bad. also that he had been told about him and did nothing makes the department look bad. hiring calm a department look bad. harassing Norman made their department look bad. the quality of the exam remix the department look bad. I guess looking bad is more important than taking care of the citizens.
