They say birds of a feather flock together. As for walking in your shoes I'll have to pass because they probably stink just like your policing abilities and your ass is blue because you sat on it for 20 years collecting apaycheck for doing as little as possible. I to have known a lot of cops like you, guys who think because they are cops they are better then everyone else and they think that badge and uniform give them respect but in reality your still the same guy suffering from little man syndrome. Your just wea1ring a uniform and carrying a gun but people still laugh at you. Good, no question about it, he was indited. Now let's see the conviction paper work. As I said before, anyone can be indited, but that doesn't mean they are guilty of anything. Case in point? A trial just ended where a female office was indited in Federal Court because she supposedly shot her self and framed he ex-husband for it. To make a long story short, the Federal Judge tossed the case out due to the fact she DID NOT shoot herself, and it came out that her ex was behind it. My bitch wasn't that people where attacking Cole because he was a police officer, it was because they where convicting him with circumstantial evidence in the court of public opinion. Not only that, this blog never should have been started until 1. the paperwork you posted was showed, 2. a final ruling from trial, 3. paperwork showing that he was forcibly removed from KY law enforcement. Even if your indited, and the case is tossed out, or you beat the rap at trail because your innocent, that paperwork will follow you around forever. Did any ever stop to look at what really happened? No, I don't think so, they just got their hands on some paperwork and took it for face value. You officers that got your panties in a bunch over this should know, "its not what you know, its what you can prove." If you graduated from a police academy, you should know how to work a case, work this, and post a link to all the documents you recover. Get the information on the final ruling, get the information about his KY certification. Its easy to do, file an FOIA. I'm betting he was at the wrong place at the wrong time, maybe friends with the wrong person. I already know what your going to say, he is a cop and should be able to spot people like that. Let me tell you about some Richwood history, 2 Richwood Police Officers some 20 + years back were roommates and best friends, 1 of them flips out and murders a woman, the 2nd paid for it in the court of public opinion because they were best friends, other officers, deputies, and troopers in the area started running their mouths saying he must have known this was going down, and did nothing about it! Which was far from true. Just because some ran their mouths not knowing all the facts, destroyed the 2nd officers career. You see why I will not convict Officer Cole on circumstantial evidence and public opinion? If you want my guilty vote, I'll need to see more evidence, not because he said she said.

You must be the 2nd officer, I always heard you were there. No one else would bring that up. If the guy had been indicted for being a child molester and not convicted but banned from working in the school system in KY would you send your child to a daycare in Richwood where he worked ?

Yes, Copper, Pocahontas County is full of innocent police. Cole and Totten are just two of them. Perhaps you would like to read about the deputy who didn't get drunk and fire his service pistol several times in his girl friend's house. Or perhaps you would like to read about the deputy who didn't pass out at the jail from a drug overdose. Certainly you would like to read about the deputy, a former trooper, who didn't lie to the magistrate about paying a civil debt. I am certain that he didn't show the magistrate a copy of a check drawn on the Pendleton Community Bank to prove that he paid the debt, when the name of the bank at the time the check was supposedly written was the Pendleton County Bank. I am sure that it was a nasty rumor that the former trooper, now former deputy as well, was convicted of false swearing or some similar offense. Maybe you would like to read about a trooper who, with the help of some of his police buddies, did not beat up a delivery man and then trash his truck. I am sure that the Civil Rights judgment was not very much. If you want some more innocent police stories, just let me know.

You are comparing him to serial killers, child molesters and god knows what else. The point of this is; not one shred of evidence has been shown that he committed a crime or copped a deal. An indictment is not evidence; evidence is a record of conviction, and proof of desertification in KY. WV LE standards conducts a background check when you submit information about yourself when becoming a police officer in this state. If he failed to mention any conviction, desertification in the paperwork, he would be charged for falsifying documents. If proof of this had been shown by any of you in the beginning, I would agree with you, that he should not be an officer anyplace. The only record I've seen was an indictment and brief news story; and of course we all know the press ALWAYS gets the story right. Show us a final deposition from court and desertification records. It really looks like this kid came in and pissed a bunch of Podunk Hillbilly Cops off, and this is nothing but character assassination. If you really want to get this guy out, go the distance to provide hard evidence, if there is any. Why not back your accusations up with HARD ea-reputable evidence? As for me being the 2nd officer in the 20+ year old Richwood Officer shooting, nope, not me. That person now works for the Federal Government in a Law Enforcement type job. Would the Feds higher him if that had been true? NO!

Big difference was the 2nd Richwood cop indicted? No! This guy was indicted hence there was enough evidence to show he was guilty of from the indictment I read committing several crimes. Your argument does not hold water. He got a deal and now he is here and I can't wait to see how long it takes for him to pull something like that here.

Hey copper why don't you just shut the hell up! Just because you have all day to write 10 paragraphs defending him don't make him innocent. We never made him do the things he was indicted for. I'm sure its only a matter of time before someone get the transcripts or the hearing or the plea deal. OJ Simpson wasnt guilty either so your conclusion that someone is innocent because they were not found guilty is as ignorant as you and your pointless rambling.

Sweet pea the only major case I think you worked on was a major case of hemmorrhoids from sitting on your blue ass doing as little as possible for 20 years. Next you will be telling us you worked with Stabler at the SVU or Gibbs from NCIS calls you when he gets stumped on a case (BTW inflating your resume does not make you look smarter it just makes you look shallow). As for the case at hand I can't tell if its stupidity, your ego or some misplaced sense of loyalty that is causing you to stand up for this guy who has no business wearing a badge but I can tell you again that I'm glad you are no longer in LE because dinosaurs like you are what give cops a bad reputation. Remember it only takes one bad apple to make everyone look rotten and I'm sure there are still residents of West Buechel who still talk about the two cops that got caught stealing radios just like I'm sure people will always talk about the Richwood officer that stole drugs from the evidence room so there is no room in this profession for individuals like that. Maybe your old department accepted officers with baggage like that with open arms, if so that speaks volumes about the lack of integrity in your agency. I'm sure you will feel the need to respond therefore I want to make it very clear that I'm not used to participating in a battles of wits with an unarmed person but in your case I will make an exception.

Hes not a serial killer or child molester hes just a common thief. Lets get it right everybody. It just makes me wonder about all the illegal stuff he did and did'nt get caught. Oh and by the way people lie all the time on job applications and during interviews so why should this guy be an exception to the rule. Face it he fell through the cracks but it seems his past is starting to catch up with him.

Hey, guys, give Copper a break. After all, the great State of Arkansas ranks higher than the great state of West Virginia in national education ratings. You ask for proof? Arkansas never hired Cole as a policeman. West Virginia hired him not once, but twice. Enough said!

I am sure someone will dig it up and and even after you see it you will continue to defend him stating he was framed, everyones jealous of him or its just sour grapes but at the end of the day he was indicted (notice the correct spelling because you continuously spell it wrong in your posts) and forced to leave Kentucky. If he was such a stellar officer he would still be there instead of gravitating to the only two places in WV dumb enough to hire him. Furthermore, If someone was lambasting me on here like they are him I would be on here defending myself to the bitter end so in this case his silence speaks volumes and the fact that you continue to back him says a lot about you. Go ahead and insult me now because it will give everyone else you've been insulting a break.

No, I think he's a bigger man than your are. Tell me, are you in the same department? Is he your supervisor? If he's not your supervisor or in the same department why would you care that the state of WV certified him? Don't you have some police work to do, or you just have noting else to do but sit in the office banging this crap out on the computer? At lest Cole is out earning his keep by working, and not goofing off on the computer while on the job. Maybe that's why he's not getting in a bitching contest with you, he has important things to do. As much as your on here, you must be on vacation, or not taking care of your duties. As far as me, I have nothing better to do, but make you out to be the di@k head that you are.
