David has two witnesses to the Stillwell arrest. They are ready and willing to talk. Plus he has the video tape of the arrest and search. He will be able to tell about the nature of the stop, whether Totten was running way ahead of the cruiser, and how the girl was searched.

If he is such a good person, then please explain to me why he was meeting someone repeatedly, saying it was to bust someone for drugs, and instead was sleeping with them? He was caught doing it also. I didn't realize a part of police officers job was to sleep with a convict that was narcing. If that is in part of the job description, the sex part, then every man would probably try to become one. Oh crap! Now that they know, there will be an outburst of applicants for a officer position. HA! No pun intended.

Please keep the public updated on how this turns out. We need to know who the other perv was in the vehicle, and if Brad Totten continues to be able to sneak around with women or girls while he is still on the Sheriff's Department clock. What he does in his own time is of no concern to me as long as he keeps his hands off my daughter.

This is the 2nd Monday since I talked with David. I'll be revisiting Dave to get the name of the perv who palmed Darla next Monday.
Meanwhile, we need everyone to be watching out for anymore of these situations and let us know what is going on. We'll be glad to take the matter to the sheriff and the prosecutor.
We have all known about situations like this for several years and this is the first time we have been able to come forth with witnesses to what happened.

Now who is really suprised that none of them admitted that they were ever there? I knew that is what they would do. So if it did go on I would expect the 2 girls in question are some what disapointed that they have to live a secret because the cops that they are giving theirselves to are not willing nor whould they tell that there is something going on. That happened to me once or twice when I was a teenager and liked a boy and he would lie and tell his friends that he wasn't with me.

I believe those girls that were with the cops got on here and lied because Totten asked them to. Young girls will do about anything a cop asks. For that matter almost any guy that is giving them attention.

Officeers are what they are. What goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults, no matter how many, is no one else's business. If Totten violated a law that's the problem not his past history or any other lawman's.

Sounds like your candidates did not win last election and your "pipeline" to inside info has been shut off. Could be we actually have professionals in office who know how to carry out their duties the right way (like not broadcasting it all over the county and telling all their friends). Investigations take time and you know what? We are not privy to that info no matter how much you think you are. In cases involving employees, if you would read the law, it is illegal to discuss actions taken. Unless charges are filed, the information collected during an investigation is confidential. If the informantion gets out, it is usally by the employee who is not happy with the decision.
I do feel for Darla and believe something happened to her that was not right. But you have to give our elected officials time to do a thorough investigation and not just make a "good ole boy" knee jerk decision. I listened to the videos posted here and did not hear where Officer Totten was the one who put their hands on Darla. (Again, I think whomever did was in the wrong.) Officer Totten may be in the wrong for somethings but perhaps not. We do not know exactly what was going on. And it is up to the sheriff and prosecuting atty. to determine fault. Again, I am not making a judgement especially since all the facts are not known by the public.

The Sheriff & prosecuting Attorney might be good people,"GREAT"The Fact is this is wrong.The law is sappose to be out there making sure we dont brake the law.Not braking the law themselves,thinking its ok too because they got a badge.Knowing they scare you because of there badge.And if that isn't bad enough if you open your mouth or make them mad,watch out they will pull you over every chance they get(picking).They know nothing will happen,you word against theres.This is sad .When I was growing up,I was taught to go to the law,What a joke.It should not take this long to prove who did what here.If it was anyone other than the law,you would of done been sentenced.Come on people something has to be done.Who do you go to when you need help from the law???

Mystery Cop my behind. He wasn't a cop or there wouldn't be such a hush hush situation about it. A cop would have legally been allowed in the vehicle whereas another citizen would not have been. THAT is why nothing has been said or done because it will be another cop doing something he shouldn't have and the sheriffs department are not willing to admit to that so soon.

I think to settle thissince Totten had no cause to stop the vehicle and the ticket and time he had Lester and Darla stopped. Simply do this Have Brad remove his badge and gun.. allow officer Agee to do the same and the two of them stand up see without all the Tazers and night sticks see if they got what it takes to wipe Lester.... I'd think they were pulled over an hour so give Lester 5 minutes and I bet Both will be drinking their meals witha straw! I'd hate be Brad if they agree to my suggestion.

And someone asked why that girl kept seeing Totten it is the fact that had she stopped he would have arrested her and made up a reason to arrest her family. I remember when a warrent was served in Hillsboro on a family and the cops held their guns in the faces of the children and grabbed a boy and slammed him to the ground. The warrenet was a joke.

First, how dumb can you be? It has only been a couple weeks and from our understanding the sheriff and prosecuting attorney was/are looking into it. To say you are “sad and disappointed†and it has only been a couple weeks. Tell me you are NOT a person of faith and were not a true support of change.
Second, Lester and his woman ran to Etater only a few days after talking with the sheriff/PA. It appears to be that they didn’t want them (sheriff/PA) to investigative anything. So what are Lester and his woman trying to hide? Or are they part of the bigger problem in this county… DRUGS…. And are trying to turn the attention off them.. Checking on wood at 7pm at night on a dead-end road.. Come on now PREACHER..

Did you watch the video? They never spoke to the sheriff till after the video came out. He would not return their calls.
They spoke to the P.A. and she said she would call them back. They never heard back from her and finally after being told countless times the P.A. was out or she was not in that day and she'd return their call. Donna had no intention of speaking to Darla. I know this as a fact. ETATER made her and the sheriff take note and react. One thing for sure is a politian will play the Magician game. Have you clapping your hands thinking what you see and hear is real when in fact all it is a trick of lights and fast fingers.
Mark my words that nothing will be done unless someone goes out and files a Civil Suit. The fact is as I see it that the stop was illegal. They saw the lights a long ways off. They thought something was wrong cause Totten came running down the road. Something funkie was going on or Brad would not left his vehicle. Was he trying to get ran over? I will apoligise if one thing is done but the only thing that may have been done was Totten and Agee have meet the women on their own time or be more careful. I do not have the faith that you have in any elected offical. Everyone thought something would happen when that girl in Marlinton was being fooled with but all Brad did was resign long enough for the statue of limitations ran out on a civil suite. Do the math... two years from the day the offence was committed and that was how long he stopped being a cop. Everyone else may think something will be done but the only reason the sheriff is doing anything is Norman took hold of this made it known. I pray I am proven wrong but our women in the area have been under constant chasing as if they had some game or reward for the numbers of women they could get. At least Troy McCoy has not proven to be a womanizer. He and Dave seem to be all we have. Didn't that young deputy have a girl still in high school living with him? I think she is out of school now. I still think it will be forgotten in a month or so.
Keep up the faith but I just think this is going to turn out a laughing matter for Brad and Agee. They are getting away with this. I mean I bet if you take what you think you know and times that by a thousand times and we will get real honest numbers of things they should not have done.
How many so called suicides have we had in this county? I think this all smoke and mirrors.
What if your wife were harrassed and warned if she told they would make her the liar and do something to their family. if she told a soul? Lester's wife Laura was harrassed and asked to meet the cops places. The fact is a pattern of behavior is in affect. I hope that truth will come out but happy endings don't happen in Pocahontas Cpounty....

Let me guess what denomination you are. Southern Baptist? If you are truly a "Man of God". Pray for the truth to be unveiled and believe that it will come forth in God's time. Not our time. That alone demands additional time to investigate.

I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church in Marlinton and can speak first hand to the fact that they preach on "Fire and Brimstone" and are very quick to judge based on “Their†understanding of the word of God.
Again, understand that I am not taking either side of this case. I’m clearly pointing out to every resident of Pocahontas County to exemplify patience and trust that the individuals elected will get to the bottom of this and a full report will be rendered.

If Brad or any other individual under his command is not performing up to his expectations set forth, then rest assure their termination iminate. If everyone in Pocahontas County truly understood the employees he inherited then you would realize that he has to follow the laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the State of West Virginia to a “Tâ€. Factor into the equation that he is in his second month of his first term, and then you have to consider the learning curve. I can only imagine the pressure and stress he is under.
I recommend to every resident of Pocahontas County. Give David Jonese time to sort this out and if you are a believer in “God Almightyâ€. Pray for Wisdom for him and every other elected official daily. I got a question to you tax payers... look at your phone bill. Is there a tax for '911' service? What do we pay state taxes for? I know the government gives the county and state a huge sum of money to pay for 911 service since the Patriot Act. Count the number of phones in the county and figure out the tax times that each month and we can afford twelve high paid dispatchers not counting the equipment. i understand why theres so much worrying about who the "cop" was that touched darla but everyone running there mouths about whos sleeping w/ who is BS.if the cops are cheating on their wifes then let them deal w/ it its their problem not everyone in the county. it dosent matter what the cops do its always made public even if they dont do it while on duty. theres things they do that is made into such a big deal but let someone else do it and nothing is ever said about it.look it even cost one deputy his life!. i understand brad has done somethings or even alot of things that are wrong so he needs fired but at brads definse not every girl that he has messed around w/ was forced or blackmailed i'm sure they did it very willing and now just want the att. so are saying other wise. let the dave deal w/ it and leave everything else alone. oh i cant help it i have to comment on one more thing i just cant see weasel doing anything w/ crystal but thats just my opp. and i guess everyone has one

Let me assure you if cops are taking advantage of the citizens of Pocahontas' county's teenage daughters, then let me tell you it most certainly IS my business. If I can't trust a cop to HELP my child without molesting her or convincing her that she should have sex with him to get out of something, then again, IT IS MY BUSINESS. Granted, my child is not old enough to have to deal with them, but when she is, I do hope that they will be trustworthy for her to go to in need of help. So don't DARE tell us parents that we don't have a right to know if the cops are having sex with KIDS on the job or anyone else. We do and if it ever happened with mine, they would pay for it LEGALLY. But you can bet your butt I'd have their job.

They said they were not the wrong. The fact is Darla was fondled and the fact is Totten was trying to cover up the fact there was something going on wrong.

I read the article about the new police force in the Pokey Times, but there is no mention of the cost of putting this service together. Seems like that should have been addressed in the article.
Also, how come the Pokey Times doesn't say which magistrate is sentencing anymore. They used to tell you who it was that was giving a sentence. I would like to know this information so that I can make an educated choice at the polls.

If you think the times will do one thing that is actually reporting NEWS rather than deaths and lining the bottom of a cat litter box you are mistaken. I mean does the times ever interview a person that has an opinion? The Times is so afraid of stepping on the toes of someone or a lawsuit they report just what is public record. Mr. Smith should just do a deaths flier and we get all the Times says.
