Finally After Many Months-- a trial

Nearly 7 months ago Ferrel Kelly was charged with indecent exposure and littering.

A jury trial is scheduled for next week.

Ferrel has no home and  no money. He subsists by dumpster diving.

Putting him in jail will add to the $50,000 plus that he has cost the county.  He has cost thousands in legal fees.  His TRAFFIC CHARGES FOR PEEING IN AN ALLEY were dismissed recently.

At the last jury trial he was acquited after spending 30 months in jail.

40 jurors will be called because he is so well known.  A special magistrate has been called in.

In fact, he may have been in their own garbage can if they live in Marlinton.

The cost to the county was almost $50,000 at the rate of $48 per day.

The jury trials on his case are apt to cost another $4,000,  Is it worth it?

  3. To late. The entire Pocahontas County Magistrate Court system, and the current 2 Magistrates have already fully proven, evidenced, and been exposed for being a fraud, morons, and non compliant with WV code, and the WV Supreme Courts rules for procedure, and in many cases criminal, etc. Further the Circuit Courts are complicit as they have not reported this to the AG, and the Supreme Courts for immediate halt to the fraud, and full investigation, review and correction.
