Money Laundering

Appearing on “Fox News Sunday,” House Oversight Committee chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy said he believes the Clinton campaign may have laundered money to pay for the dossier, Breitbart reported.
“I’m not an election law expert, but the good news is you don’t have to be to understated the absurdity of believing that you can launder all of your campaign money by just hiring a law firm,” Gowdy told host Chris Wallace.
“Imagine if you and I were running for Congress, and we just hired a law firm and said ‘Hey, you go do all the oppo, you go buy all the television, you go buy all the bumper stickers, you go hire all the experts, and we’re going to launder all of this through a law firm,’” he continued.
“I am also interested in sharing some memory tricks with folks at the DNC because no one can remember who paid 10 million dollars to a law firm to do oppo research,” Gowdy noted. “I find that stunning.”
“$10 million and no one can remember who authorized it, who approved it? So you’ve got two issues, a memory issue and then the lack of transparency by laundering money through a law firm,” Gowdy concluded.

Re: Search Warrants for Code Violations

(2) If the owner cannot be located after reasonable inquiry by the code enforcement agency as required by this section, or if the owner refuses entry, the code enforcement agency may obtain an administrative search warrant from either the municipal court or the magistrate court located in the jurisdiction of the municipality or county where the structure, dwelling or building is located.

Before obtaining an administrative search warrant, a code enforcement agency official is required to make a sworn statement and prima facie case showing that the code enforcement agency was unable to gain access to the structure, dwelling or building after reasonable and good faith efforts, and that there is a legitimate and substantial safety concern involving the structure, dwelling or building that supports the requested entry.

FBI Paid to Destroy Trump

It had been previously reported that Democrats took over funding for the opposition research from anti-Trump Republicans after Trump won the GOP nomination.
On Friday, lawyers for The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative publication, told the House Intelligence Committee that the outlet originally funded the dossier’s production.
The FBI also reached an agreement before Election Day to continue paying Steele for his work, though the plan was terminated after BuzzFeed published the dossier in January.
The Journal’s editorial board said revelations about who had financed the Steele dossier indicated that the “FBI’s role in Russia’s election interference must now be investigated.”

Will John Simmons Help Put the Fire Out?

Brenda Curry Davis Boothe Help me to understand!! If Norman is lying as you say then why is BFD refusing to give the information that is requested.

Norman or any other person has the right to request information for whatever reason.

Norman Lee Alderman, I am assuming that you or someone you know has requested this information and have not received what your requested right??

So Keith, William, or whoever is a BFD member, explain to us residents why if you did receive a request, why would you not follow procedure and provide the information.

I believe I speak for the majority of the people in Pocahontas County when I say that we are all grateful for the people that volunteer their time and put their lives in danger for us.

We appreciate that! But we also give a donation yearly and when you see a fire department in the little town of Durbin purchase a $190,000.00 building it makes you take a step back and wonder why???

I believe that many are asking the same question. Wouldn't it be beneficial for the BFD to provide the information not only because you are required to but would you not want to do this for the citizens that give to you?

 Let's put this fire out!!

Magistrates Wasting County Money.

Again Ferrel has struck again.  He probably cost the county another $10,000.  Remember Ferrel was given a traffic ticket for peeing in an alley.  That charge was so ludicrous that it was dismissed almost a year later.  He spent 30 months in jail the first time before he even got a trial, he was acquitted!

We need to get magistrates who know enough basic law to know when a person's rights are being violated.

I hope that the next time a ignorant cop brings a person to court that the magistrate will use common sense and dismiss the charge.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse for defendants AND MAGISTRATES AS WELL.

Smart Guns and the 2nd Amendment

Re: Brain Washed Monkey Brains.

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "How Much More do you want it to be illegal?":

Because "smart guns" are stupid. It is a fallacy and a non starter for being a product that works. Imagine it is your gun, and this complicated ID system is for YOU.

But someone comes into your home to rape, torture and murder you family while you are not there. THEY ALL should be able to use that tool being that purchased gun to protect themselves and others. Also electronic systems fail, and require power of some sort, imagine the immense failures here when someone believes they have a tool for the job only to discover it will not work.

Also then there is no ability for an owner of their legal property to be able to trade or sell it as it just becomes a very expensive door stop as you state it won't work for anyone else.

Smart guns is the dumbest idea ever, and only those who have no idea what they are talking about push that sort of total BS.

Same as the non sequitor illogical BS of a government stating that since disruptions to our power-grid are inevitable, that they want to remove all physical paper fiat currency and replace it all with only electronic credits currency and records.

This is insane, and yet this the what is fully proposed by globalists, and "progressives" who are the brainwashed monkey brains for the globalist.

Where is there a board of directors

arbowail has left a new comment on your post "Old Time Hymn":

old time hymns is a good place to put this latest tid bit of information about the B.F.D. buying the former sheets G M C dealership in greenbank ...a Pocahontas county resident went to the latest board meeting and asked a very simple question ,"how much money is in the treasury of the bartow, frank and durbin volunteer fire company"....

now this sounds like a very credible question in light of the fact that $190,000 has been spent on buying that building by the B .F.D..... CONSIDERING that every cent of that money came from the public and the tax payers through the Pocahontas county commissioners surprisingly the answer tendered by the fire chief of that fire company none other than Kenneth (buster)Varner was ,"that is none of your business" imagine that ...talk about nuts like a big brass monkey this monkey has to have the most historic set ever.....

the individual didn`t ask from the floor what was the treasury of varner LLC he asked about a public entity with public funds ....a public volunteer fire company mind you .....if this is let to go what or why is there a board of directors at B F D and why didn't they resign right then and there or demand that he answer ...

I understand that our other line of defense Eugene simmons the prosecuting attorney is want to answer any freedom of information requests in this case so no wonder it was not any of this citizens business to ask such a simple question ....

the fix is in !! the more I think that this is a ruse B f d doesn`t want that building for a fire house but more likely it was so that the property can be leased to the contractor that is gearing up in greenbank for the pipe line project....it sure looks like greenbank is going to be the construction epicenter and that building is more valuable then it appears ....greed is the under lying force here ...

.I hear that the old dealership is not a fire safe building and it requires fire walls to be installed before it can be used as a fire house .... so one has to ask yourself didn`t chief varner think about this building being useless as a fire house before he rushed to buy the place before he got approval or in put from the board of directors of B F D ???? IT APPEARS that this board and Eugene simmons are nothing more then a bunch of toothless junk yard guard dogs ....

so maybe the only thing we have is old timey hymns and prayers to look out for us ...I guess that a lot of people have received the annual request for a donation for B F D at $35.00 my question is until an answer is given as to the treasury should I give up $35.00 or should I donate to cass fire company instead as we are covered by both companies if you donate to one....

War on Halloween

Unable to Impanel a Jury

Today's trial didn't make it off the ground.

Ferrel wisely asked for a jury.  If he would have been found guilty, he would have owed court costs for all those jurors who were called up.

It seems that they finally got 7 jurors who weren't prejudiced.  Then according to Ferrel the eight juror said that they had a conflict in regards to the "prosecutiion."  Therefor the magistrate dismissed all the charges because of what she heard about the prosecution.

This is the second time a jury has come into rescue Ferrel.  You will remember that he spent  30 months in jail waiting for his first trial.

A local judge ruled that he had a "speedy trial." A jury acquitted him of the charges and he was turned back on the streets which he considers home.

At one point, Ferrel was given "home confinement" by a judge who ruled that he was homeless.

Lesson Learned:  In our county judicial system it is wise to ask for a jury of your peers.  Jurors are the safest way to stand before the court.  They can see through the crap that the courts throw at them.

In Ferrel's case he had a court appointed attorney because he is a pauper.  He has absolutely no income.  He feeds himself out of a dumpster.  All these charges have cost the taxpayers of Pocahontas County almost $60,000.

He was given a traffic ticket for peeing in an alley.  The officer who did that is now serving security for the governor.

Apparently, no one stopped to count the cost of prosecution.
