Is he or aint' he?

6. It is constitutionally permissible to suspend, or even to discharge, a deputy sheriff who seeks political office. As long as the political activity limitation does not infringe on the deputy sheriff's access to the ballot box or his or her ability to participate in nonpartisan political discussions and activities, the requirement of orderly management of law enforcement personnel outweighs the limited infringement on the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and Section 7 of Article III of the West Virginia Constitution.

  1. Sheriffs in pokey land are like underware they start out clean but the stains start fast. Then it matters not how often you change them they get dirty.
No one who has been in service for longer then 10 years deserves a shot.

    1. Sheriffs do not start out clean if all along they were dirty Deputies, or much worse the 2 "Chief" Deputies.

The County Sheriffs Dept belongs to the Citizens of the County. Time to demand full audit, and open transparency of ALL personal, salaries, bonuses, and anything else in ALL the personal files. As well as a full explanation and documentation on this "Auxiliary" issue.

Also workshops on how everyone can file the proper effective forms against them. As well as the Magistrates, and both Prosecuting Attorney and Assistant PA, and the County Council. Also really look into the Dreama thing as she has violated many persons rights in many ways, caused harm, yet under WHAT false authority?

Take back your lives, take back your dignity, take back this County.

    1. Well what ever "something she would be good at" is, it needs to take into consideration all the time she spends playing games on her phone while being paid to so some sort of job.

  4. The real issue is how hard it is to fire one and to have a sheriff with the ball to do so.
We seem to be in a cycle of having Sheriffs who have been denuted.

    1. like I keep saying diamond dave will be the easiest to get rid of give him a P.T.exercise get a back pack and put 45 pounds in it put it on and tell him to run and I stress run from the front steps of the court house over to the little general and back to the court house ...have a car follow and if he drops in the street wait 2 to 3 hours and call in the E M T `S and if by some miracle he makes it fine but have him do that every day and add 5 more pounds every time until he packs it in... now doesn`t that sound fair??? does to me I mean after all as chief deputy he should set a good example and not just by being the most rotund chief deputy ...
