Pocahontas County Spent $43,800 to incarcerate Ferrel plus many $$$$$ prosecuting him and then a Pocahontas Jury acquitted him. We, the citizens are $0 to $43,800 invested in this ludicrous pursuit of one poor man.Never have so many people paid so much to prosecute one pauper. Ferrel is a one-man financial disaster for this county! He could single handedly break this county. If the first count cost this much, what will two more counts cost? $43,800 dollars will buy a lot of meals for our Senior Citizens or books for out school children. If Judge Richardson hadn't had the common sense to release him, we would still be paying $48 dollars per day. Rowe and Pomponio were spend thrifts as judges. We are fortunate that they are gone from our midst. It is no telling how much they have cost Pocahontas County with dumb cases like this.
We now have a judge with common sense in Robert Richardson. LET'S KEEP HIM! We can't let this good man get away. Norman Alderman is voting for Robert Richardson for Judge.
