Flash From the Past B

 Re: Mystery Cop
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with the earlier post about agee.He is a very nice guy.
 Re: Mystery Cop
I wonder why the one was driving when she was only 14...maybe that's why she was getting pulled over...also, if she knew what was going to happen, why did she continue to go to the jail to see Brad? I'm not necessarily taking Brad's side, but I was under the impression that it was illegal for 14 year olds to drive...and why was the 14 year old allowed to be out by herself so much that it continued so long? my mother would never have allowed me to run around like that when I was 14...just a thought...

norman

When a detention exceeds the boundaries of a permissible investigative stop, probable cause needs to be present. Since operating a mv is a privilege he can ask for proof of operators license and make an arrest when one is not presented. His probable cause is that the driver is driving without a license.
The minimum required to stop a vehicle is reasonable suspicion of a crime.
The way I see it, pc was determined after the stop but I am unsure there was a legal reason for the stop in the first place.
 Re: Mystery Cop
There was no reason to stop a vehicle tat he had no idea who was driving. Would he not be blind from the lights he saw? What was the reason for being there and I'd be interested to see if any officer was on a DUTY ROSTER FOR THAT EVEVNING as undercover? The duty roster is the thing.
 Re: Mystery Cop
The truth will set you free.
 Re: Mystery Cop
to ANYONE bashing the 14 year old I am glad you had a mother that cared and a good home life but not all of us where that lucky!!!
I know at 14 some of us have had to endour WAY more than others thus leaving the door open for older men and athority figures to take advantage of.
If you have been or are 14 and have no good home life it is very easy to be drawn in by preditors,
But there are some of us that do understand it has taken this girl a lot of curage to write this and i will be right her for her anytime!!!!
I do hope that she will have the courage to give the new sherif a call, this is the only way the world will ever change for our children.
 Re: Mystery Cop
maybe theres misconduct here and maybe theres not. we the public will never know the full story. im sure bits and pieces we will get but never the complete story. like i said i dont know the sheriff but the voters of pocahontas put him in office. now let him do his job the way he sees fit. again he cant divulge details of an investigation to just anyone. no if at a later date he decides to then he can. as for assuming or just posting other law enforcement officers names on here is very disrespectful. again i cannot speak for the deputies or troopers but id be willing that not every last one of them is truly as some of you have portrayed them. yet some people love to try and ruin there reputation anyway. if someone ruins there on reputation then thats on them but dont go and spout off about i heard this or that unless u can back it up with 100 percent proof. otherewise its nothing more than speculation and good ole gossip
 Re: Mystery Cop
Wow i am so happy that i have found this site. It really makes my day to see how silly we as humans are. After seeing this tape it should be easy to find out who did this all you have to do is see who has that big of hands to cup that butt. It seems we are always ready to complain about the cops but when we are in trouble who do we call. they risk there life everday but we never thank them. And beside none of this will matter in a hundred years
 Re: Mystery Cop
none of this matters now either. it's just a buch of pityful, sorry folks trying to feel good about their miserable selves by taking jabs at good people.
 Re: Mystery Cop
yep a cops writes u a ticket and under your breath u call him an a--hole but he catches the person who youve been complaining about and you adore him. let the sheriff or whoever do there job on this. if u was the owner of a business or a president of a company would u be so quick to fire an employee or would u take the time to interview all parties and really try to get to the bottom of the matter. i hear you same people say pocahontas will never change but in truth you dont want it too. you people and you know who you are feed off these type of things. if you arent hearing a rumor then you are starting one yourself just so u and your others can spin something outta control and if ya destroy a good persons reputation or life along the way then so be it. just remember when u point your finger at someone u have four pointing back at you.
 Re: Mystery Cop
Go to the other sexual assault thread and you will see why females are reluctant about accusing someone of sexual assault. Would you want to be bashed the way, as someone called her, the dog princess is? There are lots of sheep in wolf's clothing and people you would never suspect.
 Re: Mystery Cop
I'm sorry, but where does it say that the girl is 14 NOW? She WAS 14 when Brad started on her, we have no idea how long it's been going on...couple years? Five years? More? I think you're getting your stories confused. Someone correct me if I'm the one that's wrong, but I believe that the girl that said she was 14 when brad started his harrassment of her, and the girl that was getting pulled over in the car or whatever are two different girls speaking of two different events in two different times, the girl with the car has been within a few weeks, and the other girl has been a year or more. Right?
 Re: Mystery Cop
The girls in question are having a talk with the sheriff this evening. Of course they will say that it didn't happen. I hope the sheriff can see through all those lies.
 Re: Mystery Cop
Agee isn't as good as you seem to think! He's in Pocahontas County because he couldn't/wouldn't keep his pants on in Randolph County! Married and has a child with another woman in Randolph County! Yeah, he's a good guy alright! If I were his wife, he would've been gone a long time ago! I feel sorry for her and their kids!
 Re: Mystery Cop
You people don't seem to understand the life of a cops wife. They all know they are married to men that cheat, however they put up with it and walk around with their noses stuck up in the air like they are someone. When in reality, they dont' have anything that most of us haven't already had, or could get if we wanted it. As for Agee, HA...watch how he looks at women when a pretty one is around..he's got those eyes, and he lets you know that he'd meet you on a back road (or another place :-0 any day of the week. Watch who he is hanging out with when he is partying...another cop lover. His wife better watch her back if she wants her man all to herself.
 Re: Mystery Cop
In response to "To Curious", here is the cut and paste of the post I was referring to, I was only going on what was posted. "He started on me when I was only 14 yrs old. It happened everytime he seen me. I would pass him on the road and he would turn around just to stop me. Well, it went on for 7 yrs with me, until one day I had left. It went as far as everytime he would see me it would happen. He would call me and have me come up the jail house when he was dispatching and we would go into the bathroom and get it on. There is so many times that I went to the jail house and it had happen." So, I don't believe I have my stories confused. And I did have a good mother who cared about me, and for those who don't, I know that God has given them minds to make their own decisions, and at some point, even in school, this person must have been taught that it is not right for 14 year olds to be out with guys that old,as Brad was well over 21 when he worked at the jail. I am glad that she has opened up too, but at the same time, I know that God will take care of Brad in due time...He is the ultimate judge, not us. Perhaps, some people need to volunteer time to help kids like that instead of spending so much time on here talkin' smack
 Re: Mystery Cop
And here's the cut and paste of what YOU wrote:
"wonder why the one was driving when she was only 14...maybe that's why she was getting pulled over...also, if she knew what was going to happen, why did she continue to go to the jail to see Brad? I'm not necessarily taking Brad's side, but I was under the impression that it was illegal for 14 year olds to drive...and why was the 14 year old allowed to be out by herself so much that it continued so long? my mother would never have allowed me to run around like that when I was 14...just a thought..."

That's why it sounded like you were getting your stories confused. The 14 yr old and the incident with the car being pulled over are two separate instances. The 14 yr old girl was not the one driving the vehicle that got pulled over.
 Re: Mystery Cop
" He started on me when I was only 14 yrs old. It happened everytime he seen me. I would pass him on the road and he would turn around just to stop me. "

Yes, she did say she was driving
 Re: Mystery Cop
I drove my Dad's car when I was 14. Of course now'a days we wouldn't get away with that...
 Re: Mystery Cop
It bother's me about how so many of you try to "quote" what someone says and question everything about it. Most of you have been asking othe girls to step up and tell their stories and then when they do you chew them up. Which way do you want it? I give the girl that talked about when she was 14 credit for talking about it. She didn't have to say anything but she did. Good for her! It's not up to none of us to ride her about it aferwards... It's no wonder no one else want's to say anything. We should just set back and take their word for it Instead of trying to turn it all around... We are only as good as our word. All of us...
 Re: Mystery Cop
In some states you get your driving permit when you are 14.SO WHAT,not the point here. Its about some law are lawbrakers.Enough said...
 Re: Mystery Cop
HEY GUYS REMEMBER THE SALEM WITCH HUNT? IT ONLY TOOK ONE GIRL TO CALL OUT "WITCH". THEN ANOTHER AND THEN ANOTHER AND ANOTHER GIRL AND SO ON TO CALL OUT "WITCH". AND LOOK HOW MANY WOMEN WHERE HUNG FOR BEING WITCHES. WELL BRAD HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A WITCH? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT BRAD SAYS (GUILTY OR NOT) HE IS A WITCH. THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE AND IT ONLY TAKES ONE OR IN THIS CASE TWO PEOPLE TO SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT SOMEONE. AND EVERYONE WANTS TO HANG HIM ("BRAD"). BRAD IS A GOOD GUY - TRYING TO MAKE OUR COUNTY A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. LOOK AROUND LOOK AT ALL THE KIDS ON DRUGS IS THIS COUNTY THATS WHAT IS SAD (THE KIDS ON DRUGS). SO "BRAD BE ****ED". I WOULD GUESS THAT MOST IF NOT ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ON THIS SITE HAS GOT A TICKET OR TWO FROM BRAD AND NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET HIM BACK FOR DOING HIS JOB. BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES IT WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT DOING WRONG. IF LESTER WASN'T DRIVING THAT NIGHT THEN HE WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. THIS IS LESTER'S WAY OF GETTING BACK - AND AS FOR THE GIRL SHE IS PLAYING ALONG "SHE IS THE FIRST GIRL TO CALL OUT "WITCH".
 Re: Mystery Cop
bingo if he gets proven innocent and i hope he does some people will no matter what believe only what they have heard or read on here and thats unfortunate. this thread is nothing compared to the one thats gonna be on here if he is cleared of any wrongdoing. never met the guy but im rooting for him if no other reason than the fact he does protect the ordinary people by laying his own life on the line each time he goes on duty.
 Re: Mystery Cop
You must have road the short bus to school or you are blind. If the officers were doing their jobs rather than drawing a check and chasing tail our county would be a bit different. We do have a few law officers I would somewhat trust. Our county has a huge problem which is lack of work. Every time our county has a company want do something to that would bring jobs all these idiots start raising hell. In the 90's there was the coal burning power plant at Denmar. Recently the sand quarry at Devils' Backbone.
Walt Helmick is supposed bring jobs to our county and since he came to this county he has done nothing but rob us blind and lobby for the interests of the wealthy who might have to pay more if our job market was competitive. The fact is Darla does not ask for a settlement or money. She just wants to know who felt her rear end and touched her in the ******.

Our county is dying and everyday someone who does not live here purchases property here and another part of what once was a nice place to live has become a tourist trap. The voters of the county should vote a levy that makes taxes on anyone who owns property here and is not a resident to pay thousand times the taxes of a resident. Make so the taxes on the land they own here have the same taxes as the big city or where ever they came from. Our county is becoming a big summer home or hunting camp for some rich person. For our children sack we need to stop the selling of our counties future by soulless real estate agents that worship dollars and **** our county!
 Re: Mystery Cop
Do you have any idea what this actually about?
The fact is there were two women on a secluded road with Totten and another and to shield from sight what was happening Totten runs down a icy road(putting his safty in jeopady)to stop a car from coming any closer.

This would have been better had Lester Stomped the fuel peddle , ran him over and then colided with both vehicles. I wonder if anyone might have got something bit off?
Face it something was going on he did not want saw!

Is it police procedure to run at a blinded driver on a icy road to stop them when his vehicle was right there? There was no probable cause nor was there a reason for him to leave his vehicle till he knew what the car was going to do? I am glad we have such smart officers on our tax dolars.
NO RIM OR REASON!
 Re: Mystery Cop
To "Salem Witch Hunter",This is a small town, their is allot of gossip. And allot of reality.Everyone usally knows you by your fruits.Allot of us grew up together and knows all about each other. You said Brad was a good guy. What is your definition of a good guy?My definition of a good guy would be "one who is faithful"to their partner. One who is honest, and takes their job seriously, and doesn't show favoritism in the law, doesn't flurt around young girls or married woman.I sure don't feel safe with a police like that. What a poor example for our children & grandchildren. There is a fine line between a bad cop and a criminal...
