Justice Demands Answers

navin johnson has left a new comment on your post "Another Assistant Prosecutor":

now it should be county commission business...........and open to the public........on reasons why simmons chose to FIRE robert martin.

if they had the hiring discussion, there should absolutely be no reason why they cant have a firing discussion.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS OF THE PEOPLE.

the cc has a hand in this thing too- they initially voted UNANIMOUSLY to NOT HIRE martin.........until his criminal charges were resolved.
then, after a 10 minute closed door meeting, they went public and on the record again and approved the hiring of martin.

people need to show up and demand that this topic is discussed at the next cc meeting.

area defense lawyers and public defenders are sure gonna be interested in why martin is terminated and gone- anything of legal significance and they can file paperwork to have a new trial for their clients if the reason would affect martin's judgement, ethics, etc in prosecuting recent cases.

if the cc refuses to address the issue and discuss it, its time to file a FOIA and find out why martin was terminated.
THE PEOPLE DESERVE ANSWERS FROM THEIR GOVERNMENT.

Editor's Note:  Have the judge explain what happened?

I wonder whats gonna happen to the public confidence if the reasons for martins termination are not disclosed.

  2. Really Navin you don't expect them to actually tell us the truth with out being forced do you. That would be like the Sheriff answering a question or getting the truth out of a lawyer.
