hey how about the sweet deal interstate brings in young men from Puerto rico pays them below what other workers get and then every three months moves them on so as not having to pay them as full time workers with benefits .........those boys have to come up here because there is no work on that island ......... then they stay in trailers at the end of durbin that are not fit to put chickens in ........ this shell game is being played in an area with no jobs much like in Puerto rico ..so instead of this multi million dollar industry paying a fair living wage in an area were this is so needed and hiring local boys at a fair living wage they get hand outs from the county and turn around and slap the faces of everyone in this county .........the more I find out about the greenbrier so called economic development corporation the more rotten it sounds .........if this bunch of flim flam artists really had the development of this county at hand no telling what would happen ........ c.c. beard got right on board with these crooks instead of asking what the hell are you doing with my counties money and stop pissing it down rat holes with nothing to show for that money he got right in step just like fleming did .......interstate is owned by people with a lot of money in fact millions...... so why can`t they do right by working people ?????? who wants to work in a saw mill for $7.25 per hour ??????a recipe for exploitation

Deletemy guess is that the so-called greenbrier economic development corporation also owns the equipment and machinery in those former howes leather buildings and then leases to interstate tax free ........sounds like a great deal if you can get it ........ so with all these free benefits we are putting up how come no good paying jobs to show for it ????????how is that only interstate and Jacob meck l.l.c. or jacmal l.l.c. get these great deals that the average joe don`t get ........ hell these deals are handed out on the q .t. ..... no one even knows about them ....... the joke is it`s our money..........
