Rumors of Payout

 $1,000,000

The Commentator has received a second report that the insurance company is settling the county's most notorious police sexual assault case.  One report has the figure as high as seven figures. Another lady's lawyer has a huge the width of the Miss. River on his face, expecting a wonderful settlement sum for his client.

Ironically, the payout rumors seem to be much higher for a cop than a school teacher.  In the school case, the report was that the young lady got $300,000.

These girls were the victims of bad police work and they deserve every single penny they can get.  More power to them!!!

Do not expect any news from the Times or WVMR.  These settlements tend to be very secret agreements.  There is a fear that any other victims might want a piece of the action.

The perpetrator is expected to get a suspended sentence.  He pled guilty to one of the 69 charges against him.

P.S.  Much of these was due to letting a cop transport a female without a female chaperone.  We have head of a recent transport in which a female was again transported to TVRJ without by a man without a female chaperone.  Apparently, the lesson hasn't been learned yet!  We haven't had a chance to talk to her yet!  We will try to get an interview with her later.
