Public Land to be Sold at Public Auction

Just received a telephone call from one of our newest board members.  Here's what I found out from him:

  1. The Slavin property is to be sold at public auction (at least a portion of it)
  2. Whether by sealed bids or open auction has not been decided.
  3. A survey and appraisal will be conducted to determine the boundaries and the amount of the minimum bid.
  4. Successful bidder will pay for the survey and the appraisal.

This will allow the new owner to used the property as they see fit.

This will give Meck leeway to put in his open sewer pits or turn it into a full scale trucking site if he wishes, provided he wins the bid.
