Commentator Prediction Comes True

During the election, we predicted that Eugene Simmons would appoint Robert P. Martin as Assistant Prosecutor which he did.  But there was a snag!  That requires the consent of the Pocahontas County Commission which they refused on a 3-0 vote.  At the last meeting they wanted to hold off on their consent until Martin got his legal problems straightened up.  But Dolan and Jamie changed their mind at the meeting last night and the CC voted to approve his hiring.
