Editor's Note: The County Commission has spoken David Fleming voted in favor of the Resort Area District: Walker and Beard voted against it. It is legally dead! The only way Snowshoe can get the RAD resurrected is to convince either Beard of Walker to change their vote. Beard is running for reelection so it is doubtful that he will turn his tail and run. Walker is up next for reelection and he likes the job pretty well.
BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!!!

The FBI investigations ongoing in the area.
When you were arrested they made a big deal out of it.
But for some reason they refuse to comment on the other things affecting the county, I wonder why.
Where is the man's residence? It does matter in voting?

ReplyDeleteWhen any politician will not disclose such information openly and fully when the public has questions I feel you can not trust them.
We have such a long history of public corruption and out right having officials commit felony it results in the public becoming entrusting aftet one or two terms because our officials tend to end up in jot water or sanctioned or in prison.

Walker and Beard are making the right decision, first more information is needed as to what could happen after the deed is done and how it could affect our tax base and any possible moves that could be done to affect it in the future.
