He said he was handling 700 to 800 cases a year as assistant PA for 25,000 a year . I would think he made more and I doubt he handled that many cases. Id love to see the records on how much he made and how many cases he actually handled.
"At the time he embezzled the money, Tatano worked part-time as an assistant prosecuting attorney. According to the Pocahontas County Clerk’s Office, Tatano was employed Feb. 1, 2002, until Aug. 31, 2007, and paid $31,800."

Moreover, Tatano was sworn under oath when he stated his income. But hey, "its only perjury"- its standard issue and business as usual from the leaders of Pocahontas County.
I highly doubt that there are even 700-800 misdemeanor cases a year in Pocahontas, and Tatano probably didnt even handle half that many. With 52 weeks in a year, this would average around 150 MISDEMEANOR CASES PER WEEK. This is public information and can easily be gained from the clerk of the court's office. Norman can get it on his next visit to the hallowed and hollow halls of justice.
