Chapter Three--Part II

Chapter Three--Part I

First there was the Galilean Children's Home.  Then scandal came.  After that the leader's daughter wrote a scathing book about the home.  Then an archivist was wondering through the Whitley County Historical Society files and found the "third" chapter of the story--These were the newsletters that consist largely of what happened when the home went to Florida.  We have compiled these into three parts for your reading:

Commissioners Refuse Public Input on Pipeline Issue

All three county commissions joined together in denying the public a chance to speak on the pipeline issue

Ironically,  the president of the county commission ran on a campaign platform saying that he would be a good "listener."  Well,  after the election that he lost,  he know longer wants to listen to the public anymore.  Sadly,  both Walker and Beard joined with him in his gagging of the public.

Funny, how quickly people change their mind!!
